People tend to fear their “shadow” sides and either repress them or project them onto others. What if I can show you a way to turn these shadows into gifts? The shadow part of the self is often viewed by the ego as “bad”, when in actuality it is a very potent and creative force. The disowned or unconscious parts of ourselves are truly the keepers of great wisdom. Shadow is simply the face of light that is unseen.

We can’t have a shadow without light, right?

At Immersive Yoga retreat I will be running a workshop called “Written in the Stars” which is an astrology workshop showing you your birth charts.

These birth charts show all your aspects, the challenges, the harmonies, the yin the yang, the light the dark and most importantly I will explain how to use these energies to your best ability in daily life. Through working with your unique blue print you are provided with the opportunity of healing yourself and living a more fully integrated life. As you explore the shadow material of any given archetype, be willing to see the kernel of truth, and discover how it relates to you and your life.

Often there is great intensity associated with shadow issues, however, intensity merely indicates something that is asking to be recognised and transformed. So why not have a dance with your Devil? Free yourself from the viewpoint of difficulty, drama and struggle. Reinterpret this process as the vital creative force needed for change and growth. As you integrate your shadow issues and become more “transparent” the projections of others begin to literally pass through you without creating charged reactions or emotional hurts. Working with shadow has another benefit to, in transforming ourselves, we help to transform others and the Earth.
